About this deal

Like most vitamin C serums it's designed to leave your complexion with that enviable ‘lit from within’ look, while providing antioxidant protection from the daily onslaught of environmental aggressors. I just bought the Q10 day and night creams this week but would love to know what the other moisturisers are like.

Smoothed out my menopausal skin so my foundation was easy to apply and didn’t sit on my lines and wrinkles. Despite being recommended for the older age groups, I think anyone looking for hydrated and smooth skin should try this cream out. I love a face wipe (I get a lot of jip from people about it) and the Aldi Lacura face wipes are my wipes of choice. But as I'm now in my 60s I thought I'd bite the bullet and upgrade to this cream, apparently more suitable for my ageing wrinkles. Boasting similar ingredients and results to the PIXI Glow Tonic, this skincare hero is our favourite Lacura goodie.

I have to do that because I get contact dermatitis if I use products for more than 6 months or so, so everything is on rotate. It's the Lacura Q10 renew anti wrinkle multi intensive serum and the Lacura Rejuvelate day cream (spf 30)that I've been using. The Aldi Lacura packet promises everything the Simple ones do, but also have the added bonus of being animal cruelty-free. A cost-effective alternative to L’Oreal’s popular day cream, the Lacura Rejuvelate comes packed with similar ingredients like pro-retinol and yeast extract.

The name really lives up to itself as it moisturized my under eye area leaving the skin with a silky texture which helped my daily makeup products apply easier. I love this product as it's not just a micellar water, it's a cleanser as well so my skin felt really clean and nourished after I used it. We’ve already reviewed this sunscreen in our guide to the best SPF’s from the supermarket (yes, it does that too, and incredibly well we should add).I would recommend leaving this product in the fridge over night for an extra cool down for the eyes. To be honest, I wasn’t holding out much hope as I am a massive fan of a very similar cream (which is 7 times more expensive than Lacura Miracle Cream). Caviar is a mixture of proteins, amino acids, vitamins and omega-3 fatty acids (lipids) known for their regenerating and anti-wrinkle properties.

While the original AVEENO cream isn’t that expensive, it’s hard to overlook just how affordable the Aldi version is.not only is it extremely purse-friendly, but is said to be the “perfect way to moisturise sensitive skin” with some even describing it as “luxury in a bottle”. Not to mention that I did actually get asked if I had changed my skincare routine because my skin had been glowing recently - and that was pretty much enough incentive for me to keep using these products. Actually I find there's no need for a primer when using this, as it worked great in conjunction with my current foundation fave, L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow.

Lacura is an award-winning beauty brand that is known for its range of incredible, affordable beauty products. Both the Lacura and Nivea night cream is 50ml, yet the Lacura one seems bigger because of the shape of the pot. However, one major difference — but not a dealbreaker in our eyes — between the two creams is that the Aldi pick offers less SPF protection than the LA PRAIRIE product.Aldi's own skincare and beauty range 'Lacura' is giving big beauty brands like Liz Earle, Clinique, L'Oréal and Garnier a run for their money, as some of the Aldi's skincare products are almost identical to the products from expensive brands.
